Benzy
I noticed that I'll often start a drawing of Benzy but stop mid-way through colouring because there's just something off about him...I can usually identify the main problems with certain designs of mine and at least try to fix them but he just seems off to me?? I could just be being bonkers bananas but he just doesn't look good in my eyes.
I'd rlly like some feedback on how to improve him because I'd love to make some sorta fantasy story about him, Oz and Mon Sterling but there's such a critical flaw (or two or three idk) about his design that I just can't get over, I don't like drawing him if he looks off aaaaa
It might just be that I don't like the gold?? or the green??? ohjehdnn
if anyone would like to help me but wants extra info, he's basically a cliche wise owl, rrrrm... idk, ask and I tell

When I picture “wise owl” I always picture someone tall. But it’s entirely possible for them to be small and wise or large and wise.
I’m not sure what you mean by the design doesn’t feel right either tho soooo- Do you mean the colours? The outfit/details? The silhouette?
You could also make his eyes bigger to give more owl vibes if you want.
And, again I’m mot sure if this is helpful cuz I’m not sure what you’re going for, maybe look up a species of owl you want him to be based off of, pick their most notable features (size, fluff, etc), add scars or trinkets, and you got it down.
Another question tho, is it the DESIGN that feels off to you, or the character himself? VERY important question. XD
