I made a crap ton of cookies, most of them residing in the snowy mountains

Black Velvet Cookie was one of the cookies that live inside of the Dark Cacao kingdom, yet her family pledges loyalty to it. She has some cognitive issues that kinda caused her parents to be incredibly overprotective of her to the point where they infantilize her. Black Velvet was sick and tired of being treated like she couldn't do anything, so she left her home with her cake hound, Guardian Puppy, to prove to her family that she can defend herself and be on her own. She eventually meets another cookie, similar to her, yet more colorful...Pink Velvet Cookie.
