Fluid Binder Second Toile
This is the second version of the Fluid Binder! Now with a tweaked pattern, upgraded fluid design, cording, lining, and the spring gate rings that I’d use in the final garment as well as the zip, although I only attached that with very loose hand-sewing so I could remove it after testing it.The time I spent on this second toile is very justified by the amount I learned while sewing it - the cording alone took a lot of tweaking of stitch settings and practice getting it neat, although the fabric I used here was also more stretchy and therefore likely to get skewed and puckered than the scuba I used for the final version.Jun 7, 2022
