Going serious with this question bc I'm right looking an answer for myself, how do get/keep your motivation to draw? (Doesn't mean like every day but occasionally) Any tip or advice will be appreciated

I take breaks whenever i feel my motivation dropping! It helps with making me excited for the next drawing, and if the lack of motivation comes from frustration I try to get some practice done as well.

Music, watching art videos, taking walks, looking at art books; and sometimes even reading helps me.
•
I like to watch art videos on yt. Idk just looking at other ppl being productive and making all these amazing artworks really get me in the mood

Let it come naturally! Remember why you started drawing! Think of a goal you want for your art! Or a goal your art can help you reach!

I tend to draw small things they tend to motivate me by a little bit, but sometimes looking at others art ~ or aometimesu i just not draw at all. :D i would usually come back to it when i feel refreshe ;;;u

Few months ago I started hating my art( motivation was also low) real bad and to get out of that I practiced anatomy and did some "ugly art" and after a while I started feeling better, so just maybe do something that doesn't require thinking just splash paint on paper I guess

•Art challenges, DTIYS, contests etc. And when making art works for those, I try to do something new-ish like incorporating a color I don't like.

For me it's mostly about not being able to transfer my vision to the actual canvas that makes me lose motivation. So I keep drawing, I do studies, do heavily referenced drawings or maybe try to learn a new technique. "Not drawing for a while" isn't a solution, for me at least, because the longer I'm away from it the harder it becomes to pick up that pencil again.
My advice is to figure out why you lose motivation and go from there

•I have characters that keep me inspired :). Maybe if you find something or someone that you love to draw often, it’ll keep you motivated to make art of that particular thing! And finding something that gives you ideas, like music or fashion or nature, is really helpful

Honestly music- or just media in general. If I try to push stuff out with zero inspiration it gets hard. It doesn’t have to be a clear idea, but having other media to look at can be helpful C:
