I have a bad feeling about this one, yo. The plotline of "Protogee takes up the mantle from her mentor" is all fine and dandy when it's used well, but according to the Twitter fellas, it's apparently not okay here because the protogee in question is voiced by Awkwafina. I don't like Awkwafina either, but jeebus, they need to seriously calm down about her and her character.
The Furious Five also aren't here, but eh, they didn't have much personality to begin with, even in the first movie.
Although the main villain can in fact shapeshift into villains from past films, it looks like Tai Lung is legitimately returning after being Skadooshed in the first film. Maybe it's a result of the villain's shapeshifting abilities, but he's on the poster alongside her, so I'm inclined to think otherwise.
Sure hope she shapeshifts into Shen at some point, I know @sealhaus would be very happy about that.
Nabbing Ke Huy Quan into this is an absolute win in my book.
