Day 4: „Hand“ & „Embroidery“

For this piece I picked two words from different prompt lists instead of just one (#peachtober and the one by lanylavendula on instagram), creating this artwork of a mouse nun embroidering a tapestry with her own little hands - but also: Did you spot the little hand she embroidered on there, towards the bottom end?

Looking at the artwork now I’m immediately taken back to childhood days when I watched „The Savior of Redwall“, „Der Retter von Redwall“ in German, on TV. The character reminds one of Brian Jaques’ Cornflower in the halls of Redwall Abbey. It’s not meant to be her, but I guess my subconscious was heavily inspired.
