One thing I noticed, you don't really draw any shadows. If you use cell shading, shadow under the skirt and chin would add some more definition to your drawing :)) you could also add a shadow under her bangs.
I actually didn't realize she's holding a knife. I think part of it's because it lines up with the neckline of the shirt making the silhouette harder to distinguish. Also adding the knife's shadow will help.
