How does one maintain on one kind of a theme in their drawings...? Example like if you love warm colours you just stay with em...I'm not that kind of a thing? I dunno. But I always doubt my choices of colours in digital art. Also my drawing itself. Perhaps I'm used to traditional much? Guess I had to keep practicing...Sep 5, 2022

If in digital it's easier, just use Overlay with the same colour every time and it looks kinda consistent lol
Colour theme is always nice to see, but it's also fun to spice things up a lil and go with whatever you want. Sometimes it can get boring to see the same tones (even though I myself use blue a lot ahhahaha)
A good part of it is consistency in art style/style within medium. Consistency in framing, color choice, dress, and background will all go towards that as well. For example, you've got a pretty strong theme in your pencil drawings of color as a highlight/way to draw attention to a specific part of the page
I did it with digital but what helped me a lot is to draw from reference like idk forest portraits or what ever. That way I figured out which colors I like and with one I like to play around a lot I guess it also should work for traditional.
For traditional my poor as had no choice in colors cause I used copic markers and they are so expensive I never had much colors xD
Some people make color palettes that goes with their style, or maybe the just look for an already made color palette
