Nikolaus - it’s a mixture of Christmas and Halloween - Children basically put their shoes outside on December 5th and ,the Nicolaus‘ will put candy in them. In the evening they’ll go around the neighborhood and collect sweets. Instead of saying ‚trick or treat‘ they’ll tell a short Christmas poem
