Night studies
It's for a dtiys on insta, I've just finished the drawingI made it with my new tablet, and I would like to know what do you guys think of it, or if there are things that could have done better...
Obviously, some lines are too thick, I'll pay attention to that next time, but anything else you think would need attention ?Mar 14, 2021

Hmm, it's pretty well already for a digital beginner (if I understood that right ':D)
The things I notice the most are your lights and shadows. They are too soft and the light rays are too big, too unfocused, I think? It's a bit hard to explain, especially since I'm still learning a lot myself about digital art and lighting. Another thing is the lineart. How much did you work with layers, if I may ask? I would always have the lineart on its own layer, above all the colouring. So that it's always clearly visible. One can use a little highlight here and there on top of it but in the end it sould always be properly visible, right? I could talk about so much I just got to know because I stumbled over it by accident but it could be that I'm telling you things you already knew :'D If you've got some concrete questions... I can maybe answer some?
