I hate those posts where like it’s like “ gen z wouldn’t know what this thing we millennials had growing
” and it’s something many Gen z would know. wdym no GenZ person wouldn’t know what a VHS or a CD is? How old do they think GenZ are?

As a Millennial Z and Yugi-Boomer, I think people do get confused about that. Because the term GenZ only really started getting used when Gen Alpha were already becoming tweens. Before that millennial was being used as a catch all term for young people, "who are ruining the economy".
But I think we can all agree It's Gen Beta that's the real problem. They all act like babies and can't take any responsibility for what's happened to the economy under their watch

•I both know these things and we regularly used cds when i was growing up, like why do they think we wouldnt know

•I was born mid 2000s and I still know what a VHS is, my parents were not rich enough to ditch all the VHS tapes when people started to make the switch to CD so as I kid I remember we had a whole collection of them we’d watch.

Genuinely believe a lot of people only think of the Gen Z that were born in the late 2000s or mix them up with Gen alpha kids and forget that a lot of Gen z were born in the late 90s, early/mid 2000s. Like why do they think we won’t know what dvds and blue ray were?!?
