Idk if u wanna call that poetry or not but here’s Misha. He’s kind of a mess and yeah the poem is about him. Also the ‘reanimated by Mephistopheles’ part essentially means ‘reanimated by Satan’ which is a metaphor, because Satan never actually makes an appearance. Really it has more to do with ghost trains and an ancestor gambling away his family’s lives. Misha is dead, he died in the 1918 influenza pandemic. And he wasn’t revived to literally smile, I’m not gonna say what the purpose was though because
