Personal Monthly Favourites of 2022
(had to flip a couple of them)Was kind of a weird year in terms of both personal life and art. I was busy doing certain things (some of those things I hope to explain next year), so it feels like I drew less the last few months. I didn’t make many pieces that thoroughly impressed me, but I think it was mainly that I was trying more things that I’m usually not very good at. They helped me map out what I struggle with in.
I’d like to learn how to draw better with pencil and pen in order to be able to work on my comic, as opposed to focusing on painting. Practice forms, anatomy and drawing backgrounds. In the new year I’ll try to push for more line art and sketches. The idea of forgetting how to paint terrifies me though, so I’ll still be making full-colour pieces, too. I just really really want to make the comic happen.
Thanks for sticking by me! The internet may not have been so kind to artists this year, but I hope that there will be better things to come in the next.Dec 31, 2022

All these pieces are beautiful, despite being experimental— and that's a good thing! It's good to practice and do artworks that go out of the comfort zone. I can't wait to see more pencil and pen pieces and for your comic :33 Here's for a better new year!
