The Lich
The second illustration that I created for my exhibition. I wanted to focus on a different world and feature a creature from the Cursed Isles.This is the Lich, a creature imprisoned on a floating island, known only as the Monochrome, and is hidden amongst the blood red leaves of the Everlasting Tree.
The island, as the name implies, is entirely monochrome, the colour stripped from its once vibrant nature. Any living thing that’s been trapped here has become a Void-Like, nothing more than a silhouette. This is all thanks to the Lich, who’s abilities are connected to the island and he steals the colour from around him, absorbing it and consuming it for energy. The only way to get it back is to find one of his fallen tears, or manage to escape the island.Nov 9, 2023
