Puriel, an angel of a goddess of light and fire - he was assigned to be a gatekeeper, but everyone he needed to judge has already been judged, so she abandoned him at his lonely post for having such blood on his hands. He was a tool she was finished with and needed no longer, so she left him without so much as an explanation.
Puriel, in this form, has no unique facial features, and thusly speaks through an all-encompassing echo and sees through a dizzying "total sight" that lacks detail.
His relationship with his own light/fire is also rather strained; everything he touches in this state burns, so he doesn't nurture and care like one would presume light does - he kills. The other gods of darkness and corruption are, by comparison, somehow so much gentler and soothing in his mind, and he has a certain curiosity towards them that would be considered blasphemous.Apr 28, 2021
