as a queer person living in a conservative country, I feel like shit earlier.... cuz me and fam were window shopping and yknaw, all that shet... and Father dearest walked into this store specifically for MEN (something prolly caught his eye)
I had a minor panic if I were to go with mother dearest who wasn't going into the store and continued to walk away OOORRR stay with father dear and look at all the good stuff cuz why not
I turned around, didn't see mother dear, and just went with father instead. PEOPLE WERE STARING AT ME JDHDHDHDJSJD I got scared. I tried to be as natural as I could(which was maybe my mistake cuz I was "TRYING" to move naturally around others) I was thinking maybe the hat and uhhh basically the whole get-up?? kinda gave off the lesbian vibes or smthin??? but yes

Personally I know how you feel but in different circumstances. I don’t look like the stereotypical artist idk what y’all call it but I look like the typical black girl yknow lashes nails glossy lips and name brand clothes (I love my fashion nova) other than what I look like I’m a very nerdy person so I went into Hot topic filled with alt kids looking at me like I didn’t belong when I simply just wanted my Sailor Moon merch and Kingdom hearts socks
