Many many movies I like are not only underrated IMO, but often strongly disliked or made fun of. So it'd be a long list. The opposite is also true, I dislike a lot of movies that are almost universally well-loved and I think are way overrated.

Maybe because a lot of people haven't seen it because pupophobia (fear of dolls and puppets) is pretty common. I've never heard of it before, but now I know I won't be watching it. lol

I'm not sure about surprisingly, but I have a few:
Basil the Great Mouse Detective (I've only seen a few bits of it, but not the full movie), The Cat Returns + Arrietty

•‘A Monster Calls’, it’s take on death and storytelling is just beautiful and always has me crying but I hardly hear people talk about it.
