Finally able to post this! I promised a commission perk for Muura's (you can find Muura here on Artfol too) film project (@pedonsyli on IG) funding, and got to make this piece with awesome Karelian themes for the generous pledger !

The pledger is very fond of adders, so one became the centerpiece with a Karelian character in traditional wear and some käspaikka embroidery!

It was so heartwarming to get to work on this as a slowly reconnecting Karelian!
