Update on the head- I got some brown minky (for the nose and head) and green Fleece (for mouth and inner lining) from the fabric store! I'm going to be getting some masking tape tomorrow so I can FINALLY START PATTERNING! I'm super excited about it!
My mom absolutely EXPOSED me at the fabric store tho-
We were getting the fabric cut, and the lady at the register said the custom "What are you making today?". I tried weaseling my way out of it, saying "Oh, well, it's very complicated to explain..." and then my mom just WENT OFF saying "Oh, she's making a character mask! She did it all by herself and now she's covering it with fabric!" And I was just sitting there like
oh no
The lady seemed to not care much anyways sooo at least that- I'm glad my mom's so excited and proud of me for my project tho haha-
Anyways, I worked a bit on the head for final touches. Smoothed out some areas, made the nose bridge better, etc. Now he's ready for furring!
