Sooooo... Ok, rant post.
This year I failed to complete the inktober challenge, and I realised that I have two or three main reasons why. 1 I want to make it more complicated than it should be, there shouldn't be anything wrong with taking the prompt word as literal as it is and not trying to twist it just to "make it more interesting", sometimes simplicity could be the best option. 2 Even tho I did plan it with anticipation, and even tho I had a rough idea of what I wanted to draw for each day, I still wasn't able to balance the time it takes to make the drawing with the time I spend doing other things (mainly cooking which unfortunately does take some time), and that kind of goes back to first point, I wouldn't stress as much knowing I could make a drawing that would take only 1 or 2 hours rather than something complicated that takes more time and that makes me stress about the rest of my time to do other stuff (cause long story short, I'm not in college rn so in the meantime I'm the cinderella of the house, I do all the cleaning/cooking/washing and I take care of the dog). 3 My ideas can change and not everything will end up being the same as my first rough idea of it and I shouldn't care too much with improvisation, yes maybe at first I think that's the best I could do with it but then maybe something else will pop up in my head later and I shouldn't doubt so much on changing it just to see what can be done... I must accept, 4 I also need to deal with my god tier levels of procrastination... It sucks.
