Practicing techniques output
After all the workshops I attended back in Manila, I was determined to practice what I learned. I fell in love with the wet on wet technique that I ventured in trying to do this with drawing faces. So this is a practice on the watercolor technique, wet on wet and my attempt to make fluid brushstrokes, as if I were using a pencil. I like drawing faces as it amazes me how light lands on your face and the gradients are crazy. Anyway, you will not see that here. I did this with that wonder how I can use the wet on wet technique to make a face. This practice image is from a book of Burne Hogarth. Yes, I do all. I attend workshops, read books, watch videos... I spend more time reading, attending workshops and doing. I attend workshops when I find myself too busy to make art. Because I paid for it and I have to be there.
