Orange Daylily Dragon
The next in my Dragonflies/Dragons and Blooms series is an orange daylily dragon.I have a garden book I've been using to come up with different ideas for my plant dragons and I've found it extremely useful. Still, I'd love any suggestions or recommendations.
This one uses its petal-like crest to mimic the lilies it finds its home on. The crest closes and opens slightly in response to sunlight, and the critter's colors deepen and change over time as well.
The red coloration for this one is both helpful in displays as well as drawing things to it, if necessary.
Since the flowers on the plant only bloom for a day, the colors on this dragon change frequently to mimic the unique colors of each one, while still maintaining its vibrant coloration in a few areas, mostly around the crest.

I would love to see a lily of the Valley!!!! Those are my favorites your art is wonderful <3 not only is it dragons but it’s lovely flowers that they call their homes.
