Yes! My one also smells like that, but I also have to add that I've been using it for a few years now

I don't think so I used my kneated eraser for 1 or 2 years now and it still smells pretty much like when I bought it and before that one I had one as a kid that I constantly dropped on the ground and I can't remember that one smelling weird either

•Mmh maybe check if the piece of paper, after you dragged the eraser over it, still reacts normally to pencil and other tools. The smell might indicate the presence of a substance, and maybe it can affect the paper quality

•Naw thats normal. I used to have a kneadable eraser and it smells like straight BALLS. I actually got rid of it bc of the smell
