Mermay No. 2 - The Poet

Mermaid No. 2, „The Poet“ for Mermay! I really like how this came out colorwise, I hope you do too.

I‘m doing a series of 9-10 paintings this year for Mermay (not sure yet, but definitely different sets of three) and they‘re all (or will be) based on statues I spotted at Sanssouci Castle Park in my hometown of Potsdam, Germany. Materials used: Watercolor paper, colored inks, various synthetic watercolor brushes and colored pencil for the sketch before.
