“You know, I always wondered what it was like to have a little brother.” Keisuke sat close to Makoto, people-watching as they ate through their shared snacks, so many families with their children passing them by causing his thoughts to drift.
“It’s only you?” His clubmate’s voice was soft, but too distinct to miss. Keisuke nodded.
“Only me, and Dad. It’s good that he didn’t have another kid, they’d be really lonely or pushed onto Mom, but…”
“But you’re lonely?”
