I like to share the little things I do to organize myself better and since I know I have friends who are into writing, I'll tell you guys how are the character sheets I make to help me:
1. The basic information: age and gender, detailed physical description and how they usually dress, what colors they usually wear...
2. Background: the part of the character's life before the first chapter. How was their childhood, what was they like as a child, things to highlight from their past.
3. In the story: here I make a brief summary of the story (from beginning to end) from the point of view of this character emphasizing the events that happen in which they are relevant.
4. Relationship with other characters: I make a list of the characters with whom this character is related throughout the story and describe how their dynamics are, where they clash and where they coincide, how they feel about each other...
