Sometimes a family is a catfish piloting an automaton and the elder god he catfished

I wanted to draw a sweet interaction between Fontaine and his patron Mohndyu, since he came out to him and was accepted and it was lovely. I also wanted to capture the dreamlike, mystical feeling of Mohndyu’s astral library, especially with the sense of peacefulness it must have for Fontaine now he doesn’t have to hide his true nature.

Fontaine (Holith) is a curious catfish turned sentient by magical radiation. He pilots an automaton and pretends to be human in order to literally catfish his patron, a lonely old god who offers him power in exchange for companionship.Feb 1, 2025
