what are the most silly misconceptions about the world that you can come up with? (e. g. a melon will grow inside your stomach if you swallow a melon seed, your brain shuts off when you sleep, etc)
for context: my dnd character has this ability when he can reduce other characters'/npcs' characteristic values. while he does that, he says something incredibly stupid to make everyone in the room lose their brain cells

When I was 4 or 5 I remember thinking that if you were holding an object in your dream and then woke up, it would bring it into real life ? Idk where I got that from but I remember trying it and was so sad when it didn’t work
