How does someone motivate themselves to do school stuff? And how does the person actually STAY motivated?

This is probably just me but i do it out of spite. Ah, my teachers think i can't do this? WELL THINK AGAIN!

Most of my life I spent it slacking in school, not handing in my hw and just in general a bad student. Some of it was by choice but there has always been a wall in my way. Around my final year of hs I picked up my shit, took advanced placed classes for college credits and graduated with good grades, having control felt nice, and I’m never letting go. Why try, if I can do my best?

Start paying for school and your motivation will go up so fast 
Jkjk, I just find it hard to look at a bad grade, like a 0, on my report so I always end up studying and doing work. Hmmm but other than that there’s really no other motivation because I don’t really care about rankings although so people do use that to motivate themselves!

There is literally a video on about the fucked up school system kills motivation and grades are a lie .
But a good way to stay motivated is honestly shame. Ik that sounds really bad. But like do you want to be the " stupid kid'? It actually worked a lot for me and my friends.

motivation changes over time, so its ok to not be motivated sometimes. i find that making lists of what i need to get done that night is helpful, and helps me keep track. when i get on the roll of crossing off and item, its satisfying to have a visual of what i got done yknow

Gotta break each task down into small pieces, look up how to cheat properly. Look up information especially in subjects like math and science from other sources if you're not " getting it." A bad habit I had to break was doing all the reading and note taking when you just need basic key notes and it's easier to buy the book and highlight in it than spending time hand writing. Notes should only be taken briefly in class.
