Disco Dumpling Thief and Tomas Jenni’s Noodle House
Another social media graphic from black and white mural I created for Jenni’s Noodle House. An order of 5 dumplings is named “Disco Dumplings” and Tomas is an awesome long time employee. I remember hearing from one of the other employees that when an employee showed up on the wall they would gather tease and giggle. She also told me how it made them feel seen and appreciated. I thought it was fun when a guest came up to me painting to note they recognized Tomas. I was so touched to learn how much seeing their faces on the original mural meant to them. I choose to include employees, because the mural was a story of Jenni’s Noodle House and it was natural choice for me. I have worked for Jenni’s since 2007. I’m glad I choose to follow my heart on the mural project.Apr 16, 2021#digitalillustration
