How do you come up with ideas?
I’m always so impressed when I see people post consistently, mostly because I know that if I’m not invested in the idea of the drawing, I’m not going to have the motivation to finish it. So once I run out of ideas I just don’t draw :/

There are many different methods actually, sometimes your mind just needs to get back in the creative loop, so even designing a character based on any object in your room for example could help spark creativity or motivation; even if it's just a sketch. My personal method is looking on pinterest XD or other artists. if i see a creative idea I try to think about how I would have fun drawing it or how I would make the concept even better.
And also, when the problem is motivation; at least to me, the key is to recognize in what way approaching a subject would be fun to draw, that way I'll definitely finish a piece.
Would you draw the subject with more vibrant colors? Interesting reflections? Etc

I don't know how ppl can run out of ideas. I have too many of them.

I just sort of do. I see clothes. Creatures. Or even other cartoons and go, I wanna draw that. I draw it.

My favorite comic books and artists, or sometimes I just think about what I feel like drawing (for example, a watercolor portrait) and I start doodling that and let my mind wander. I usually end up with something totally new and way more interesting than I planned!

Pinterest boards! I do have a lot of other inspirations, but having boards with art you like, concepts and poses you want to try out, and prompts and color palettes, is just really handy!
