I mean a lot of people ironically call each other ‘bb’ or ‘bby’ as slang for baby when talking to a friend
For example “omg bby no

•You could probably do like beb or sweet bebs for a more internet speak of babe/baby. Could also do like my boo/s (like in r&b my boo was used in a similar way) or bebou is really cute as is and I think would still work

I think bebou might be “baby” in English!
However, “baby” can either be a cute nickname for usually a romantic or s*xual partner, or it means a child who’s usually a year old or younger. It usually means a very young child though, & some may find being called “baby” a bit rude or objectifying. It may be best to ask if they don’t mind being called “baby” or not before starting to use the nickname!
It might also be the best to stick to bebou too, it seems to make more sense in French than in English! Not every word or phrase can be translated from one language to the next, it’s certainly interesting how that all works!
I hope this helps!

•If thats what you like, use it! I don't see an issue with it! English is kind of a catch all... If it starts catching on its a word
