Anyone heard about csp changing to monthly subscription?

I'm pretty confused about this choice since it's pretty messy and obviously people will either continue to use V1 or pay for V3 once it's released, but most won't pay the monthly pass. And CSP is pretty complete so I don't know what they'll had lol

I believe you can still keep the software version you purchased (v1), but by 2023 if you don't pay a subscription, you won't receive updates anymore. You can still use it as is, but you just won't receive any more free updates.
I will agree that software subscriptions especially after the Adobe debacle is just egregious at this point, but as long as Celsys is letting us keep our original version, I don't have any qualms.

Plz read the post, you can still just use CSP, you just don't get the newest version for free anymore, like you don't when you play any game or use any other software. Calm tf down plz

•It's pretty stupid. I really hate when they do this stuff... Dirty move from csp lol. It's gonna do the opposite... Instead of giving them more money people is starting to use a pirate version or other programs

I did. I hope they change their course of direction because just about every comment to their Twitter is a rightfully negative one; hundreds, if not thousands are telling them they’re going to pirate CSP from now on or they’re immediately cancelling their subscriptions & are going elsewhere.
This is a MASSIVE backlash & is not a good look for the company & product.
