Oxy comes from an empty world where only shadows can live. The ultimate goal of a shadow is to become bigger and bigger by eating other shadows, well... there is nothing else to do in a empty world v-v.
Suffering from lonelyness, Oxy, a small and weak shadow is about to give up the little she have by letting one of her kind eat her. But at the last moment, Oxy sees an unknown entity that lights up the world around them. The two shadows are drawn to the light as if it were calling them. Sucked in by the light, in the blink of an eye they disappeared from their world.
Reappearing before a novice mage in danger trying to fight a creature to strong for him, he ordered the shadows to defend him. The shadows obeyed, unable to resist the orders and saved the mage. After the fight, he tried to send the shadows back to their realm but could only send one of them back.
The little shadow that remained in front of him, admiring the world around them with great excitement, he did not dare to send it back. Since then, Oxy has stayed with the mages and learned about the humans. Her favourite thing about them is the way they express themselves with their clothes, which makes sewing her first hobby (after eating, food comes first).
