CLICKSome souls choose to erase the memories of their most loved person . Through click. Helping them move on .
It is a privilege given to souls.
But when fragments remain, the present starts to feel like it’s looping.
You feel déjà vu, even though you’re convinced something never happened before.
Meanwhile, people. Who still remember your past, might think you're... recovering from dementia.
This isn't a challenge to science. It’s a story.. perhaps . Who really knows?
Artistic Notes:
The pacing is fragmented on purpose to represent the nature of deja vu!
This piece took over 300 hours (Android) because I redrew it over 30 times. If it taught me anything, it’s PATIENCE
all drawn with my fingers.
Every detail, from the cursor to the speech bubbles, is hand-drawn( I was scared that I might get disqualified for using pre existing materials lol)
There are subtle details like badges marking the year, though I’m not sure how visible they are after uploading.
I chose this palette because it radiates sadness. Infact I added hidden elements to the last border aswell.
My core inspiration was the idea that stories are meant to change perspectives. Even if it doesn’t shift yours right away, I hope that the next time you hear the word déjà vu, you remember this theory.
To Mirka Andolfo and Jaki king, if you’re reading this:
I aspire to draw as expressive as you guys one day.

Uhm... To people that feel the pacing is kinda awkward. Kindly replace the word 'but' with 'and' in the fifth panel
