wdym I have to watch 2 unskippable 15s ads every time I want to watch a video on youtube that’s just absurd… And even when the skip ad btn is there it only skips the 1st ad like wtf the ads also appear at the start AND end of a video like bro
I would use an ad blocker, but the ad blockers I have don’t work on yt

I use both ublock origin (the ONLY adblocker anyone should use) and sponsorblock on YouTube. Sponsorblock gets rid of sponsored content IN the video too. I can't remember if it works on normal YT ads, but I haven't seen one in FOREVER and it's wonderful.
But also, I'm from the UK. I dunno if some of the more Evil attempts to get around adblockers by YT are even deployed internationally.

For me using firefox with ublock orign solved the youtube add problem. I sort of feel bad for not being able to support my favorite creators but the adds got too crazy, so yeah.
