hello friends! have a painting im going to work back into! sat on it for a while and ive noticed the lighting was a bit too spread out and the focal point of the lantern is kinda lost,,, someone in this discord im in rly helped me out with figuring it out :) other than that this is pretty monotone for me, i might do a bit more with just one colour, its rly fun to keep to that sorta palette n i think its why i struggled with the values so! should b good practice right? also! im away by the beach 4 the week and im gonna do so much plein air, this place is so pretty :))Jul 11, 2021#gouache

i love this! I love the loose painting, It reminds me of impressionism ( the art movement, i'm not sure that's how you write It)
