Dark oak planks and polished andesite probably. I've only kinda just started playing current vanilla minecraft (I haven't played for a while and when I did I played a mod pack anyway) so I'm theres a lot of things (especially nether things because I haven't had a chance to explore there yet) I don't know. Thank you for making me find out lanterns are a thing now. They'll be helpful haha

I like concrete! I think it was a great addition to the game. If I have to go more specific, then I like black concrete the best because you can make things that look like void space.
Also elytras! They were a great addition to the game and I love flying around the world with them.
