I have some nice student grade acrylics from Schmincke, those are pretty matte from the get go.
Picked them since I also don't like the shiny ones (had a particular bad cheap plasticky looking one once)
Art stores usually have swatches of the paints out. So dropping by one close to you (if there is one) and comparing swatches to find one you like could also be an option

I think you could get a matte clear coat for on top of it? I don't paint often, but I get matte clear coat at the dollar store when I do
