Young Friend is extremely underrated in my opinion haha all their music is just kinda chill? Idk how to exactly describe it but I like it a lot C:

•There's a couple but Choir Boy is a big one for me, they're SO GOOD but I never hear anyone else say they know/listen to them. Blood Moon is a great song by them.

mm The Happy Fits.. their songs are always either really loud or calm, but somehow i like them all

Not underrated by a long shot but I do wish people would look at artists like MCR and The Used and like, the entire emo genre generally, as actual musical artists and not a punchline, or even stereotype/insult people who listen to them, just because that's become the thing to do. I feel like people who hate on people who listen to emo music have never gone into an album like Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge with an open mind, especially if they are fans of rock (as MCR is also a genuine rock band). It's emo music and so people assume it lacks substance and is only suitable for edgy teens

A lot of my favorite bands are super underrated!!
I love Vial, they make kind of indie punk rock. Many of their songs have different genres and they really are the most versatile band I know.
I also love Chas Petra. Their music reminds me of first album p!atd because of the beautiful ways they mash up different parts in one song. All their songs are super catchy and they all have wonderfully relatable lyrics.
Another is Insignificant Other. Their music reminds me of like 90s movies. I really enjoy it but lots of people would probably say it's crappy lol. It's more low vibes but still energetic and fun!
There's also Newgrounds Death Rugby, Gully Boys, Hospital Bracelet, Pinkshift, Crawlers, so many bands.

Ur favs are deffo mine too! Though I'd add "the search" for me :) Some underrated artists I know of are: "Slaughter Beach, Dog" (my fav of theirs is "black oak"), "Molly Drake" and "Platina Jazz"!

•I’m edgy and I love Tokio Hotel, especially their older music (which is mostly in German but they have some English stuff too)

•That's hard to say. With music being wildly available now from across the world, indies/underground and across decades at the push of a button I feel like any artist could be see as underrated even if they used to be big.
