Mushroom baby
Lately I've been telling myself to draw more things just for fun and it's been great!
Even though I still like to share them with you, it's different from having the pressure to turn an illustration into a product, if that makes sense! So here's a happy mushroom girl that's now living on my sketchbook
I don't know if it's any side-effect of Spring or of having launched so many new products recently, but I'm having so many ideas that I can't put them all into paper! The first months of this year I was so uninspired that I didn't really feel like drawing. I was feeling kinda stuck actually, and I think I can see that if I scroll down to those month's posts

I think one of the things that helped me was to look at my art from the times I felt most inspired - IG is great for that because it works like a journal for me, where I can see my progress throughout the years. And after looking, I noticed I'm mostly inspired when I'm making stuff for fun, so now I try to take breaks from the "serious" art too

The other thing that helped me was those unproductive months! I mostly felt like knitting and being a potato, so my brain finally got its well deserved rest

So this is a reminder to you and to myself to have breaks, do stuff for fun and try different hobbies whenever we're having an art block

β’I love her so much!
Recently I also noticed how much fun and how relaxing it is to just paint and doodle for yourself, without any pressure
