How do I paint rocks?
What materials do I use?
That type of stuff.
I might sell some rocks at a Swap Meet so I need to know how to paint rocks or something.May 25, 2022

I usually just us acrylic paint! Because rocks often aren't smooth, it can take a bit more care to get in all the little divits and such. It may take several cots and so to speed up the process you could use spraypaint as a base (it sticks better and easier)

•Pick a color like a dull red, brown, grey, blue, silver and such, and just draw strange squares with extra edges, and the shade wherever e light doesn’t hit the rock and add highlights where it does

•My ma just recently found one of the rocks I painted at least fifteen years ago in the garden and it’s cheap acrylics smiley face is still going strong ^u^
Just acrylic paint directly on the stone. I would recommend not using the plasticy drying ones though since I suppose those could peel off.
Also not using too smooth stones should help the paint stay where you want it to.
