The tale of the cat and snake.
Once upon a time there was a cat called Morrigan. Morrigan being a Duke and Prince had everything they could want but despite this the cat was greedy, greedy for attention. What Morrigan did not know is the affects her actions had.
In a small little town lay a snake called Iniko. Awaking to the rumble of soldiers running through her town. The snake was being driven out of his home and land but their strong build made him be taken in by soldiers. While Iniko’s first objective was to bite back and run away from being taken after a thought or two, Iniko decided she wanted to meet this greedy cat that had carried out this raid and pursued revenge.
Upon meeting the cat and snake both shone in their own beauty, Morrigan became mesmerised by Iniko’s winsomeness and demanded they become the head soldier. Of course with a wish from the cat came ramification. With this turn of events the cat and snake spent more time together and Iniko realised just how obliviously lucky Morrigan was, from dodging falling pot plants to assassination attempts all with heedlessness Iniko was shocked how one person could be so lucky and do it with such charm. Iniko started to become infatuated with the cat and the anger started to be replaced by love. In turn Morrigan never became bored of Iniko while he still asked for attention from others they always came back to Iniko’s side craving for the snake's solace.
Morrigan came running to Iniko to show this land they wanted to conquer. The face of the cat was so happy, but the snake's anger started to rise with the memory of how she arrived here. Thoughts raced through their mind how could he forget his objective, how did she let this cat's charm affect them and why did he feel like his heart was breaking. Iniko realised no matter how much she loved Morrigan he could not forgive them.
The snake knew they had to finish the bite and with that
Iniko extinguished Morrigan's luck
with tears, his love for the cat was taken away by the now breathless prince…
Or so he thought…but his love never faded; it was only shrouded in novelties.Jun 10, 2022
