Have you guys ever had a moment where you actually wanted a villain to succeed in their mission and over power the hero?

Spoiler for demon slayer Mugen train but i actually wanted enmu to succeed in killing the tanjurou and the others even though I like them. Like enmu wanted to succeed so hard and prove he was useful but that ended up with his failure and it was sad to me.

Yes, I end up always routing for the villain
Tbh I would love a show to follow the heroes only to end in them dying or something because the villain actually won

Or a show from the point of the hero and the villain that'd be so interesting to see, their views on the same thing and see how similar or different they are and what they do in the down time
Veeeery slightly for Kira in JoJo Part 4.
Yeah I wanted that very often as a kid. Mainly because the heros always won
Steppenwolf from justice league snyder cut. Like I don't care for him but zack snyder made him extra pathetic and I felt bad for him lmao
I example for my is the animated show Wakfu. (spoilers of course)

I wanted the villain of season 1 (Nox) to win, the man lost his family and his humanity and wanted to go back in time to stop that from happening. I was actually sad when he lost in the end.
I have... and it was in Akuma no Riddle (spoilers for the show)- I wanted Haruki Sagae, Suzu Shutou and Kouko Kaminaga to win but ofcourse the main character had to have plot armour ksbwusvdbei
