I am so in love with the human mind in the way that it can not possibly fathom the size or the depths of space and yet it yearns to understand it. We can not even fully comprehend the size of our own planet or country properly and yet we are so eager to learn about stars and planets and emptiness living in a reality that seems almost separate from our own.
There is so much out there, stars so large that if we were to stand next to them, there would be nothing but light to be seen for every mile around us.
We can't possibly begin to understand what it is for something to be eternal or exist with no constraint.
I just think it's beautiful that we want to know all of these things even if they will never truly make senseMay 4, 2021
