another OC. Hadrian is the blood-heir (king, if u will. Maedra is in his service) to the throne and a very prolific blood mage. Hadrian’s parents, the previous rulers of the land, sacrificed him when he was a child to the gods in the hopes of appeasing them (their people had only recently ended a bloody and long war against the gods). The ritual backfired and killed everyone in the chamber, except for a court witch named Alethenia and the priest who carried out the execution, Mattien. The two kept Hadrian’s body safe until Alethenia could attempt to resurrect him. He’s now in his thirties and preparing to ascend to the throne. Also bisexual, would be a malewife (i have brainrot im so sorry). Wants revenge but can’t exact it because his parents are dead and you can’t fight a god (right?). is very slow to trust or let people in, and has a penchant for dramatics.Apr 26, 2021
