Do anyone legit like black licorice? If so, why? I really want to know why you like them since it's still around being sold. I can't stand the taste and I don't know anyone who does. It's been years since I last had them and I still remembered that awful bitter burnt taste.

Edit: Okay, so after reading all your responses, I'm started to feel like I'd received the worst tasting batch I ever had the last time I had them 😅 Maybe I'll try them again someday.

Its an acquired taste
It's not impressive.
Love it! But I'm Swedish with Finnish grandparents so it's just always been super common candy in the household since my childhood lol.
I like them but I'm really picky about them ;^;
tho I like salty liqurice more(it's alot better) but I'm still picky about those too ;-;

I guess its an acquired taste like alcohol since I have no idea why people like that death juice :/
I like it because it’s sweeter than the licorice seed. To be fair tho just chewing on the seeds is another joy I have
Its been a while since I last had any too, but I like it. To me it just tastes mildly sweet and kind of dark and warm? Not sure how else to describe it, but I don’t remember it tasting bitter or burnt.
