Magnolia Doodle 2
Gouache on 12x17 cm 220 gsm Koh-I-Noor popPastel crayon pad - cream.About 2 weeks ago someone in the discord server I'm in shared a #floralmarch2025 by Camilla Damsbo challenge ( https://www.instagram.com/camilla_damsbo_art/ ). Original is a line-and-wash challenge with prompts for every day of March. Most of the plants on the list were flowers I was planning to paint for fun anyway, so I thought it might be nice to try going along. I'm sticking to the gouache and paint them at my pace. I cannot do daily because of work and no, I don't want to have half of them being loose sketches done during the break just to do it daily. I've also swapped some flowers for species I actually saw in real life and have my own references for.
So, for starters: Day 1 - Magnolia
