24UPDATE/HAPPY PERSONAL RANT?!!! NO TW/CW
yall i havent been drawing a lot lately bc i havent had any solid ideas other than little doodles here and there, so my apologies for really slow uploads, and with the semester starting again soon i might not post for a while !!! 0:
even tho i love and miss drawing frequently its also been really nice to step away from it for a while bc ive mostly been no thoughts head empty for drawing ideas and i didnt wanna force myself to make art on empty inspiration/motivation LOL
anyways im rlly happy and excited bc ive been picking up ice-skating!!! again i love drawing but i also feel like for a very long time this has been the only thing ive ever been able to do decently and i was worried for a while that this would be the only thing i'd ever do ok at in my life bc academics are difficult
but ice skating has been really easy to get into and ive been wanting to learn a new skill for a long time other than art and felt stagnant like i wasnt rlly capable of learning anything else and ice skating rlly helped prove that thought wrong!!! and makes me more excited to learn new skills!!!
i love skating a lot now!!!! and no longer having to cling to the wall and skating comfortably without thinking too much about slipping and falling gives me more courage and confidence, and i am capable of more than just one thing (even though i very much love that one thing aka art)
and ive also struggled with finding things i thoroughly enjoy so this one single new hobby in my life means so much to my brain and heart. OOOOOF!!!!! and being able to share the experience with friends makes it even more worthwhile!!! AUUUGHHH!!! FINALLY!!! A PHYSICAL ACTIVITY THAT IVE BEEN RELATIVELY CONSISTENT WITH!!!
i definitely wanna draw again soon though so i dont forget how to draw
(ik thats not really how it works but it just feels like it sometimes)
maybe ice skating will make an appearance in future illustrations!! (it definitely will LOL)
