MermaywithSandra (DTIYS Entry)
Today, I finished my latest artwork for the Mermay trend. It’s always exciting to create something new for this annual event. This piece is also special because it’s an entry for a year-old DTIYS challenge hosted by ArtbySanse.I chose to draw a brunette mermaid with a stunning purple tail. She has long, flowing hair that cascades down her back, blending beautifully with the vibrant shades of her tail. I wanted her to look serene and mystical, so I added some small details like sparkling scales and soft, glowing light around her.
The challenge was a great opportunity to push my creative boundaries and try new techniques. I'm proud of how it turned out and can't wait to share it with the world.May 29, 2024
